Dear ECCO Members and friends,
Following the completion of the 2nd round, the European Crohn's & Colitis Organisation (ECCO) has launched the 3rd round of the ECCO CONFER project. It aims to identify, assemble and report together rare IBD cases of clinical relevance, which are otherwise reported as single case reports due to their rarity. All such cases will be grouped into a case-series and all contributing physicians will be acknowledged as co-authors or as collaborating authors.
The three case projects which have been chosen for the 3rd round are:
Case 1: Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia in IBD patients treated with any type of immunomodulator(s)
Case 2: Granulomatous and interstitial lung disease in IBD
Case 3: Inflammatory cutaneous lesions in IBD treated with ustekinumab and vedolizumab
If you or anyone in your team have encountered similar case/s and will be interested to contribute them to an ECCO case-series, please simply reply to this e-mail by April 3, 2017 to the ECCO Office (ecco@ecco-ibd.eu) indicating:
- your name/institution
- which case can you contribute to
- how many such similar cases you can report.
For more details please visit ECCO CONFER website.
We look forward to your responses!
